Melani De Luca's work is a critical reflection on contemporary cultural phenomena and their influence on society. Through her focus on pop and visual culture she analyses social backgrounds connected to digital mass media. De Luca's practice combines qualitative research, editorial design, sculpture, installation, writing. In 2017 (first edition) and 2019 (second edition) her Master Thesis entitled Post-Butt, The Power of the Image was published by Onomatopee.
Melani De Luca holds a Master Degree in Information Design from the Design Academy Eindhoven.
Furthermore she lived and worked in Italy, Germany, The Netherlands, Austria and Australia. Her commissioned work includes Art Direction, Branding and Identity, Editorial Design, Data Visualization, Web Design, Wayfinding.
